Volleyball Recap: MacArthur Comes Up Short

MacArthur and Highlands squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but MacArthur had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Owls by a score of 3-2. It was the first time this season that the Brahmas let down their fans at home.

MacArthur actually scored more points across those five sets (101-93), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 25-15, 10-25, 18-25, 25-23, 15-13.

MacArthur's defeat dropped their record down to 26-14. As for Highlands, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-13 record this season.

As of now, neither MacArthur nor Highlands have any future games scheduled.
