Volleyball Recap: MacArthur Takes a Loss

MacArthur and Highlands squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but MacArthur had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Owls by a score of 3-2. It was the first time this season that the Brahmas let down their fans at home.

MacArthur actually scored more points across those five sets (101-93), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 10-25, 18-25, 25-23, 15-13.

MacArthur's defeat dropped their record down to 26-14. As for Highlands, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-13 record this season.

MacArthur does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Highlands, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against New Braunfels on the 4th.
