Basketball Recap: Stowe Comes Up Short

Stowe lost against Williamstown back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The matchup between the Stowe Raiders and the Williamstown Blue Devils didn't end well, with the Stowe Raiders falling 70-51.

Evan Bailey continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Williamstown, dropping a double-double on 26 points and ten rebounds. Bailey's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Nick Mascitti, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 14 boards.

Stowe's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Williamstown, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Stowe didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 82-38 defeat against Danville on the 3rd. As for Williamstown, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 51-43 loss against Twinfield on the 3rd.
