Football Recap: St. Charles East Takes a Loss

St. Charles East came into this matchup off a tough 63-point loss last Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Niles Notre Dame Dons by a score of 31-28 on Friday. The Fighting Saints were up 14-0 in the first quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

St. Charles East is on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2. As for Niles Notre Dame, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, St. Charles East will be playing at home against Wheaton-Warrenville South at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The game will give the Fighting Saints their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Niles Notre Dame, they will venture away from home to take on St. Laurence at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
