Baseball Game Preview: North Eugene Highlanders vs. Crater Comets

North Eugene is 2-8 against Crater since April of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Highlanders will look to defend their home field against the Comets at 3:00 p.m. The match will give North Eugene their first taste of in-conference action this season.

Last Friday, North Eugene didn't have quite enough to beat Century and fell 4-2.

North Eugene got a good showing from Aaron Spratt, who didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched.

Meanwhile, Crater beat La Salle 4-1 last Wednesday.

Crater's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for North Eugene, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
