Basketball Recap: Bloomburg Comes Up Short

Bloomburg lost against Saltillo back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The match between the Bloomburg Wildcats and the Saltillo Lions didn't end well, with the Bloomburg Wildcats falling 57-42. The Wildcats' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Bloomburg's loss dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Saltillo, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 20-10.

Bloomburg will square off against Avinger at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Saltillo, they will challenge Avery at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Saltillo knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Avery likes a good challenge.
