It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Sinton had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They breezed by the Salado Eagles to the tune of 51-21. Considering the Pirates have won seven contests by more than 21 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Triston Handson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 241 yards and four touchdowns, while also rushing for 71 yards and a touchdown. Jacoby James was Handson's top target, picking up 76 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

Sinton was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 206 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Salado only rushed for 31.

Sinton didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Jonah James led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself.

Although Salado took the loss, they still got scores from Landen Noske, Luke Bingham, and Jackson Turk.

The victory for Sinton keeps them at an undefeated 12-0. Those victories were due in large part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 14.4 points per game. As for Salado, they moved to 7-5 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Sinton and Lago Vista are set to duel on Friday. Sinton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 38.7 points per game this season. Salado does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
