Volleyball Recap: Western Alamance Starts off Right with Win over Southwest Guilford

Western Alamance took care of business in their home opener on Monday. They came out on top against the Southwest Guilford Cowboys by a score of 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Western Alamance had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 18-25, 26-24, 25-22, 25-19.

Western Alamance wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Rockingham County on the 14th. As for Southwest Guilford, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Oceanside Collegiate Academy on the 14th.
