Georgia high school basketball: Boys and girls state tournament brackets for all eight classifications

The Georgia high school basketball tournaments get underway this week with both boys and girls qualifiers tipping off Round 1 games Tuesday and Wednesday. The action culminates March 9-12 at the Macon Centreplex.

Boys defending champions include Milton (7A), Wheeler (6A), Eagles Landing (5A), Baldwin (4A), Cross Creek (3A), Pace Academy (2A), Mt. Pisgah (A Private) and Towns County (A Public).



Defending champions on the girls side include Marietta (7A), Westlake (6A), Woodward (5A), Carver (4A), Cross Creek (3A), Josey (2A), Hebron Christian (A Private) and Calhoun County (A Public).
