Zephyrhills Christian Academy's tournament run continued when they took on Winter Haven on Friday. Zephyrhills Christian Academy blew past Winter Haven 65-23. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 24 points or more this season.

Caleb Gilmore was a one-man wrecking crew for Zephyrhills Christian Academy as he went 5 of 10 en route to 17 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Jordani Blanc, who went 6 of 10 on his way to 14 points and five rebounds.

Zephyrhills Christian Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Winter Haven only racked up four assists.

Meanwhile, The Villages Charter and Gibbs (ranked 34th and 63rd in the MaxPreps national rankings respectively) squared off in a high-profile matchup on Friday. The Villages Charter took a 61-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of Gibbs. The Buffalo have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

The Villages Charter's loss dropped their record down to 13-3. As for Zephyrhills Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 10-3.
