Soccer Game Preview: Rauner vs. Mansueto

The Rauner Wildcats will take on the Mansueto Leopards at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Rauner comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

It was a proper cat-fight when Rauner challenged Pritzker on Monday. The Wildcats came up short against the Jaguars, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Rauner can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 415th, while Pritzker are ranked 168th).

Meanwhile, after soaring to six goals the game before, Mansueto was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They lost 6-1 to Berwyn/Cicero Morton. Mansueto were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-1.

Mansueto's loss dropped their record down to 7-6-2. As for Rauner, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.
