Softball Recap: Ballston Spa Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Ballston Spa can now relate to. They fell just short of the Averill Park Warriors by a score of 4-3 on Wednesday. The loss continues a trend for the Scotties in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost three in a row.

Ballston Spa saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Livia Wiltsie, who went 2-for-4 with one home run.

Ballston Spa's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Averill Park, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Ballston Spa nor Averill Park have any future games scheduled.
