Soccer Recap: Brazosport Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 2-2 at halftime, Brazosport was not quite Almeta Crawford's equal in the second half on Thursday. They lost 5-2 to the Almeta Crawford Chargers. The Exporters were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Chargers earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Brazosport has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season. Almeta Crawford pushed their record up to 5-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Brazosport will host Columbia at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Almeta Crawford, they are taking a road trip to face off against Fort Bend Willowridge at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
