Basketball Recap: Oneida Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Oneida was the 68-64 winner over Midway when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Indians took a 61-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Green Wave on Thursday. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Oneida lost, don't look at Grady Keeton. Despite the final result, he shot 43% from the field en route to 26 points. The matchup was Keeton's third in a row with at least 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Drayton Wade, who posted eight points in addition to nine rebounds and three steals.

Oneida now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Midway, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Oneida didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 71-58 victory against Campbell County on the 5th. As for Midway, they have also already played their next game, a 75-64 defeat against Sunbright on the 5th.
