Preview: Kinston Vikings vs. Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs
Kinston is 5-0 against Wallace-Rose Hill since January of 2022, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Kinston Vikings will head out on the road to face off against the Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. Kinston has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Last Tuesday, Kinston was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 45-44 to James Kenan.
Meanwhile, Wallace-Rose Hill took a serious blow against Southwest Onslow on Thursday, falling 63-24. Wallace-Rose Hill was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-11.
Kinston has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record this season. As for Wallace-Rose Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 4-14.
Kinston beat Wallace-Rose Hill 49-36 in their previous matchup back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kinston since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
