Baseball Recap: Biggersville Snags Seventh Win in Last Nine Games

It's playoff time, and Biggersville had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Vardaman Rams by a score of 10-6 on Tuesday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 14-9 victory on Saturday.

The team relied heavily on Jaden Clifton, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brooks Seago, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Biggersville is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-14 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.9 runs over those games. As for Vardaman, their loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-8.
