Softball Recap: Brackett Comes Up Short

Brackett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Leakey Eagles, falling 17-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-3 last Tuesday.

Brackett's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Leakey, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-5.

Brackett has already played their next game, a 14-3 defeat against Medina on the 28th. As for Leakey, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 22-1 win against Knippa on the 28th.
