C.B. Aycock gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Rosewood Eagles 48-7. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Golden Falcons' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 121st, while the Eagles are ranked 280th).

C.B. Aycock's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Sidney Lancaster, who threw for 128 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 81.8% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave Lancaster a new career-high in passer rating (158.3). Jaylan Parker was Lancaster's top target, picking up 30 receiving yards and two scores.

C.B. Aycock didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Anthony Jackson and Janeson Steele.

Looking ahead, C.B. Aycock will head out on the road to square off against Eastern Wayne at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rosewood, they will be playing at home against North Duplin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
