Baseball Recap: Spencerville Adventist Academy Comes Up Short

Spencerville Adventist Academy lost against Burke back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Hornets came up short against the Bengals, falling 16-6. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nathan Thomas was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Nik Chavan, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one double.

Spencerville Adventist Academy's record now sits at 0-2. As for Burke, their victory bumped their record up to 3-6-1.

Coming up, Spencerville Adventist Academy will welcome Sandy Spring Friends at 4:30 p.m. on the 30th. As for Burke, they will head out on the road to challenge Berman Hebrew Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
