Basketball Recap: Oglesby Takes a Loss

Oglesby lost against Jonesboro back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Oglesby Tigers took a blow against the Jonesboro Eagles, falling 59-21. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Tigers have suffered against the Eagles since February 1, 2022.

Oglesby's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Jonesboro, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-7.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Aquilla the next time they take the court. Oglesby will host Aquilla at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Jonesboro will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on January 28th.
