Volleyball Recap: La Costa Canyon Comes Up Short at Home Against Murrieta Mesa

La Costa Canyon unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Murrieta Mesa Rams on Wednesday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Mavericks have suffered since September 5, 2024.

While La Costa Canyon was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-23, 25-20.
