Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Morgan City). They blew past the South Terrebonne Gators, posting an 81-47 victory. While the Tigers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-21), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

The win (which was Morgan City's fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-7. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.5 points per game. As for South Terrebonne, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Morgan City will take on Broadmoor at 5:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for South Terrebonne, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off.
