Basketball Game Preview: Concordia Christian Academy Hawks vs. Puget Sound Adventist Sharks

The Concordia Christian Academy Hawks will face off against the Puget Sound Adventist Sharks at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Concordia Christian Academy and four for Puget Sound Adventist.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Concordia Christian Academy challenged Evergreen Lutheran on Monday. Concordia Christian Academy lost to Evergreen Lutheran at home by a 56-41 margin. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 296th, while the Eagles are ranked 146th).

Meanwhile, Puget Sound Adventist suffered their closest loss since December 14, 2023 on Monday. They fell just short of Northwest Christian by a score of 47-45.

Puget Sound Adventist's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Concordia Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.

Concordia Christian Academy skirted past Puget Sound Adventist 62-60 in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Concordia Christian Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
