Soccer Recap: Owen County Comes Up Short

The matchup between Owen County and Pendleton County on Tuesday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Rebels came up short against the Wildcats, falling 8-0. Owen County just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Owen County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Pendleton County, their win bumped their record up to 3-6.

Looking ahead, Owen County will be playing at home against Carroll County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Carroll County will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Owen County surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pendleton County, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Mason County at 7:30 p.m. Mason County will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each matchup than the last.
