Basketball Recap: Millsap Comes Up Short

Millsap was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell 43-35 to the Eastland Mavericks. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mavericks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Millsap's loss dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Eastland, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-16.

Millsap will head out on the road to challenge Early at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eastland, they will welcome Peaster at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
