Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lindhurst). Everything went their way against the Encina Bulldogs on Wednesday as they made off with a 23-5 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Blazers considering their one-run performance the match before.

The team relied heavily on Joel Gonzalez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Leonel Guzman, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.

Lindhurst's win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-13. As for Encina, their loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-7.

Lindhurst wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 6-2 victory against Williams on the 3rd. As for Encina, they have also already played their next contest, a 20-4 defeat against Sacramento Country Day on the 4th.
