Lynn hasn't had much luck against Carbon Hill recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Bears will face off against the Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. Carbon Hill took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Lynn, who comes in off a win.
Lynn took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They put the hurt on Dora with a sharp 13-4 win. Considering the Bears have won ten contests by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Bella Harper made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Alli Dutton, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. She is on a roll when it comes to hits, as she's now got three or more in each of the last three games she's played. Amy Barton also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Lynn was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Carbon Hill suffered their closest loss since March 12th on Saturday. They fell just short of Cordova by a score of 6-4.
Carbon Hill saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cam Goolsby, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one run. Another was Brittany Parker, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
Lynn's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-13-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Carbon Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-21.
Monday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Lynn hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .350. However, it's not like Carbon Hill struggles in that department as they've averaged .313. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
