Basketball Recap: Atlantic Starts Season with Victory Against Lake Brantley

Atlantic had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They managed a 72-67 victory over the Lake Brantley Patriots. This was payback for the Sharks, who suffered a 55-48 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Lake Brantley lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Griffin Heath, who posted 13 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Adam N'Daiye, who put up 11 points and four steals.

Lake Brantley's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Atlantic will venture away from home to face off against Gateway at 12:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lake Brantley, they will face off against Timber Creek at 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
