Basketball Recap: Northwest Comes Up Short

Northwest lost against West Creek back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Northwest Vikings received a blow as they fell 66-47 to the West Creek Coyote. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Northwest's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for West Creek, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 10-6.

When Northwest and West Creek next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Northwest will try to stop Henry County's five-game winning streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, West Creek will face off against Kirkwood and their seven-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
