Basketball Recap: DeForest Comes Up Short

DeForest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 76-65 to the Beaver Dam Golden Beavers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Norskies of the 67-55 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

DeForest's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Beaver Dam, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. DeForest will take on Janesville Craig on Saturday. As for Beaver Dam, they will square off against Oostburg at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
