Alpha Omega Academy's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.2 runs over those games. As for Thorndale, their loss ended a 12-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-1.

Alpha Omega Academy has already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Westbury Christian on the 1st. As for Thorndale, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Burton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
