It was a classic East v. West duel when Southeast Guilford challenged Western Guilford on Wednesday. The Falcons' pitchers stepped up to hand the Hornets an 18-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won 11 games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Southeast Guilford's win bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Western Guilford, they dropped their record down to 3-16 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight at home.
