Football Recap: Algonac Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Algonac was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Yale Bulldogs, falling 28-6. While losing is never fun, the Muskrats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 318th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 141st).

Algonac's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Yale, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Algonac will take on rival Richmond at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Yale is set to challenge their familiar foe Croswell-Lexington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
