High Tech SD came out on top against Hoover on Thursday thanks in part to Ruby Parkin's efforts. Parkin was unstoppable, striking out 11 batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and six unearned) runs off five hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Parkin and High Tech SD will host Crawford at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Parkin had to take a loss the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their contest two weeks ago 6-4.
