Soccer Recap: Thursday's Victory Is Miller Grove's Third in Last Four Outings

Miller Grove's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the South Atlanta Hornets a 1-0 shutout. The Wolverines' winning goal came courtesy of Romiyah Stringer.

Miller Grove is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. South Atlanta is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, Miller Grove will host Columbia at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for South Atlanta, they will venture away from home to face off against Redan at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
