Basketball Recap: Sydney Hinthorn Key Part of a Team Effort in Badgers Win

Bonners Ferry won the last time they faced Stillwater Christian and things went their way on Friday too. The Bonners Ferry Badgers strolled past the Stillwater Christian Cougars with points to spare, taking the game 64-47. That's two games straight that the Badgers have won by exactly 17 points.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bonners Ferry to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sydney Hinthorn, who went 7 of 12 on her way to 18 points in addition to seven boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Eva Willis, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds.

Bonners Ferry smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in December of 2023.

The win made it two in a row for Bonners Ferry and bumps their season record up to 9-6. As for Stillwater Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Bonners Ferry will head out to face off against Timberlake at 2:00 p.m. on January 18th. As for Stillwater Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Hot Springs.
