Grosse Pointe South extended their postseason success on Saturday against University of Detroit Jesuit. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Cubs. Considering the Blue Devils have won 20 games by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory was the third in a row for Grosse Pointe South, bringing their record up to 33-7. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for University of Detroit Jesuit, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-20.
