Baseball Game Preview: North Arlington Vikings vs. Harrison Blue Tide

North Arlington has gone 8-2 against Harrison recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Vikings will be playing in front of their home fans against the Blue Tide at 4:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

On Saturday, North Arlington came up short against Saddle Brook and fell 6-2.

North Arlington saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sam Rosamilia, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one triple. The Vikings are 5-2 when Rosamilia posts two or more runs, but 3-12 otherwise.

Meanwhile, Harrison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They lost 15-0 to Lyndhurst.

North Arlington has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season. As for Harrison, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11.

Everything went North Arlington's way against Harrison when the teams last played back in April, as North Arlington made off with a 22-2 victory. Do the Vikings have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Blue Tide turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
