Softball Recap: Beaver Dam Beats Hartford for Their Third Straight Victory

Beaver Dam put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Hartford Orioles by a score of 11-7. The Golden Beavers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Orioles, too.

Mady Bryant was excellent, scoring a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Kendall Fakes was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances.

Beaver Dam was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .444. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hartford only posted a batting average of .300.

Beaver Dam's record is now 3-0.

Coming up, Beaver Dam will face off against Waunakee at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Golden Beavers their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Hartford, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Menomonee Falls at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
