Basketball Recap: Rosalia Takes a Loss

After flying high against Cusick last Wednesday, Rosalia came back down to earth. The Rosalia Spartans fell 52-39 to the Pomeroy Pirates on Saturday. The Spartans haven't had much luck with the Pirates recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Rosalia's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Pomeroy, they pushed their record up to 6-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Rosalia will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Chewelah at 6:00 p.m. on January 21st. As for Pomeroy, they will head out to square off against Asotin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
