It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Shelbyville had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Rushville Lions. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Golden Bears as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Shelbyville had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 25-27, 25-20, 25-21, 25-15.
