North Stanly is 8-2 against Albemarle since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The North Stanly Comets just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Albemarle Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Monday, North Stanly blew past Gray Stone Day, posting a 76-41 win. Given the Comets' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 181st, while the Knights are ranked 647th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Albemarle, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They took down Gray Stone Day 55-37 on Friday.

Albemarle picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-19. As for North Stanly, their win bumped their record up to 18-4.

North Stanly took their victory against Albemarle when the teams last played back in January by a conclusive 80-59. The rematch might be a little tougher for North Stanly since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
