Soccer Recap: Tell City Takes a Loss

Tell City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the South Spencer Rebels. Tell City fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against South Spencer since Tuesday.

Tell City's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for South Spencer, their win bumped their record up to an identical 4-6.

Looking ahead, Tell City will square off against Wood Memorial at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Spencer, they will challenge Southridge at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Southridge will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each match than the last.
