Corpus Christi Moody had taken Gregory-Portland down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Trojans came up short against the Wildcats, falling 11-1.

Corpus Christi Moody saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ernesto Gonzalez, who went 1-for-2 with one triple. That triple marked the first that Gonzalez hit this season.

King's defeat dropped their record down to 5-16-1. As for Corpus Christi Moody, their loss dropped their record down to 8-11.

King came out on top in a nail-biter against Corpus Christi Moody in their previous meeting back in March, sneaking past 5-3. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
