On Tuesday, Damonte Ranch faced Reno in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Damonte Ranch Mustangs came out on top against the Reno Huskies by a score of 59-47. Winning may never get old, but the Mustangs sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Damonte Ranch to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jeriah Macias, who posted 17 points and three steals. Drew Dodson was another key player, going 5 for 10 en route to 18 points and seven rebounds.

Several Huskies players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Eric Platz, who had 19 points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ezra Sambrano, who went 5 of 7 on his way to 10 points.

Damonte Ranch pushed their record up to 13-8 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points per game. As for Reno, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-8.

Damonte Ranch wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 64-53 win against McQueen on the 31st. As for Reno, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 59-48 loss against Bishop Manogue on the 31st.
