Serra Catholic had won six straight home games and Owen Dumbroski did his part to make it seven on Saturday. The Serra Catholic Eagles were the clear victor by a 79-53 margin over the Waynesburg Central Raiders thanks in part to Dumbroski, who almost dropped a double-double on 31 points and nine assists. That's the most points he has posted since back in January of 2024.

Serra Catholic has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.4 points over those games. As for Waynesburg Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Serra Catholic will head out to take on Winchester Thurston at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Waynesburg Central, they will head out on the road to challenge Jefferson-Morgan at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Jefferson-Morgan is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53 points per game this season.
