The New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy Bulldogs will square off against the McDonogh 35 Roneagles at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy has struggled recently with three losses in a row, while McDonogh 35 will arrive with six straight victories.

New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy came up short against Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy on Friday, falling 20-5.

Meanwhile, McDonogh 35 never let their opponents score on Thursday. Everything went their way against Landry as they made off with a 20-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Roneagles, who have now won nine contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

Naamon Landry made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one hit in five consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-2.

In other batting news, McDonogh 35 let Jakam Glinn and Steven Wade run wild. Glinn scored a run and stole three bases while going 2-for-2, while Wade scored two runs and stole four bases while going 1-for-1. Glinn has been hot, having posted two or more stolen bases the last seven times he's played. Kentrell Allen was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-1.

McDonogh 35 always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .846. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

McDonogh 35 pushed their record up to 12-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 20.8 runs over those games. As for New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-12.
