Basketball Recap: North East Wins Going Away Against Harbor Creek

North East hadn't done well against Harbor Creek recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The North East Grape Pickers took down the Harbor Creek Huskies 59-44. This was payback for the Grape Pickers, who suffered a 61-58 defeat the last time these two teams met.

When it comes to explaining why Harbor Creek lost, don't look at Tucker Chwatek. Despite the final result, he went 7 of 15 en route to 17 points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was JT Delsandro, who posted 13 points and six boards.

North East is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 5-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points per game. As for Harbor Creek, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
