Recap: Colleyville Heritage Panthers vs. Denton Broncos

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Colleyville Heritage Panthers had no problem doing just that on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Denton 71-13 on the road. The result was nothing new for Colleyville Heritage, who have now won eight matchups by 31 points or more so far this season.

Colleyville Heritage was led to victory by Braden Blueitt and Luke Ullrich. Blueitt picked up 68 receiving yards and three touchdowns, while Ullrich threw for 116 yards and two touchdowns. Siona Vailahi and his 93 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Colleyville Heritage's win.

The win was the ninth in a row for Colleyville Heritage, bringing their record for this year to 11-1. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 36 points. As for Denton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.

Colleyville Heritage will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Cooper at 7:00 p.m. on November 17th. Cooper will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 361st, while Colleyville Heritage is ranked 80th). Denton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
