For the second straight game, Summit will face off against Kaiser. The SkyHawks will be playing at home against the Cats at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Summit is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.
Summit had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 12-run drubbing they dealt Kaiser on Thursday. The SkyHawks put the hurt on the Cats with a sharp 15-3 victory. The SkyHawks have beaten the Cats the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Cats has come to flipping the script.
Ciarah De Angelis made a splash no matter where she played. She tossed seven innings while giving up three earned runs off seven hits. De Angelis was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Arianna Munoz and Karissa Pallan did most of the damage at the plate: Munoz went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI, while Pallan went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI Pallan has posted since back in April of 2025. Another player making a difference was Isabella Smith, who went 3-for-5 with two runs and two RBI.
Summit kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in six consecutive games.
Kaiser has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season. As for Summit, their win bumped their record up to 7-13.
Kaiser's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Summit has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.2 hits per game. It's a different story for Kaiser, though, as they've been averaging 8.8 hits. Given Summit's sizable advantage in that area, the Cats will need to find a way to close that gap.
